We support the Adventurer's Club!

Q:  What is the Adventurer's Club?  The Adventurers' Club is a unique venue in Walt Disney World.  Set in 1937 during a new membership drive, it is (as described by a cast member), environmental theater.  It is a place where the audience is drawn into a play that unfolds nightly that also has lot of latitude with regards to approach and dialogue, depending on the cast and audience, both of which vary every night.

Q:  As a family why do you like going to a night club?  Isn't that inappropriate for children?  Remember, this is Disney.  The cast members love kids.  We've been bringing our daughter to the club since she was 2.  It's a non smoking environment, the jokes and comedy sketches are designed to appeal to all ages.  Having gone there since the early 1990s, we've never seen anything that we may have needed to shield our daughter from.

Q:  Why do you go?  It's a place that is fun, long after the parks are closed.  The Adventurers Club features animatronics, puppets, and a cast of adventurers who perform in shows and improvise comedy while mingling with the club's patrons. Shows and conversation are often laced with innuendo (the limit), and the patrons might be welcomed as guests, given fictitious names and "recognized" as fellow adventurers, and the songs sung (by the cast and audience) are old familiar stock that everyone knows.
