AP Photo | There are many outside forces that affect the family
for better and for worse. We added a list of things to take note of
as they can affect your family or the values that we as families
share in common.
Homosexual marriage
You've all probably heard about this in the new and while we
rarely take a political stand, we will take a moral one and always
in favor of the family. This is why we think that homosexual
marriages are wrong and do a tremendous disservice to all families
as well as the nation.
If you believe in the family this please do the following:
- Pray. Pray that God will convince our political
leaders that homosexual marriage is wrong and without any moral
justification. The family is God's building block for
humanity; one man- one woman- together for life. Those that
want to change that go against God as well as thousands of years
of human history,
- Write, phone or e-mail your representatives and ask
that homosexual marriage be stopped locally and at a national
level; something be done about supporting a national law
recognizing marriage as only between a man and a woman.
- Pray for homosexuals. God can change their hearts
to a right for of behavior; from selfish sin to become a selfless
blessing to others.
- Support other pro-family initiatives. A small listing is
shown below:
The Y2KFAM opens Pleasure Island.
 While on a recent trip to Walt Disney World, we had the
opportunity to open Pleasure Island, the Disney night spot.
Dressed to attend our favorite family-friendly club at Pleasure
Island, The Adventurer's Club™. We were invited by the Disney
World staff to open the gates and proclaim the Island open to
all!

Other Important Family News
We live in the United States and so can usually only
comment and focus on family issues as they affect the USA.
Occasionally though there will be some world wide efforts that we
will also be hapy to inform you of. While we try not be political we want to at least let
you know about laws and court rulings that may affect you nationally
or within your own state.
The Pro-Life view is NOW the majority! We believe in the
value of all human life, science also proves that human life begins
at conception, we therefore appreciate and desire to preserve human
life regardless of age, whether born or pre-born.

Marriage.ORG- Many people are concerned about the
breakdown in what a marriage is and will be. This site allows
you to voice your support for traditional marriage (if it's good
enough for God, it's good enough for us to!).

and news on basic parenting, family health and psychology.
